Comfort Inn & Suites Ormond Beach Oceanfront

I have stayed in quite a few of the choice hotel brands in the last couple of years and this is by far the best one. It looks a little weathered on the outside, but the rooms are terrific. The hotel staff here is amazing. The breakfast lady is awesome. She makes fresh scrambled eggs every day. I never once had to ask for extra towels wash, rags or anything like that like I have in the past great place keep it up. I will be back.

Nice basic hotel with a great location right in front of the ocean. The front desk attendant was friendly and helpful, and the complimentary continental breakfast was served from 7:00am-10:00am which was nice. The breakfast offered a selection of hot foods (sausage patties, biscuits & gravy, and scrambled eggs, waffles you could make yourself with the waffle maker) as well as cold foods (cereal, yogurt, bread, bagels, muffins, fruit, milk, juice), and coffee with all the fixings. Parking was included at no extra cost which was a nice perk, and there was a decent amount of onsite parking available. I stayed for one night only on a Friday night during Biketoberfest, so the room rate was significantly higher than it likely would have been otherwise. The room was a suite and was very spacious with two Queen beds, a microwave, a full-sized fridge, a kitchen table, a stovetop, a small oven, a kitchen sink, cookware, dishes, and silverware. I took one star off because at one point there was (what appeared to be) a German cockroach crawling over the bedspread. Luckily I only saw one, but it was off-putting. Overall, I am pleased with my experience and would stay here again as long as the prices aren't skyrocketed because of an event.

I don't recommend having their breakfast , although it's indeed alright. If you can make your own or go to a restaurant to have your own breakfast I highly recommend it 100% So much enjoyable The hotel had for breakfast was Apple Banana Really small cup for coffee or orange juice that tastes not good Plastic wrapped GMO red apples Child sized Activia yogurt The Activia yogurt was the only exeptable thing along with a banana The double bed rooms were really nice except the bottom of the bathroom door was shredded up like a pitbull or some other dog got to work on it recently The rooms smell absolutely refreshing and welcoming That bathroom door needs to be replaced ASAP on the third floor in the room was 314 Everything else was fantastic The fridge works at it's best The AC machine in the room is totally great The beds are so comfortable you don't want to get off it until you see the beach It's definitely still worth coming here and experiencing it for yourself It's different experiences for everyone

Staying here was… a rollercoaster of emotions. The front desk guy seemed allergic to friendliness, but the housekeeping crew deserves a standing ovation. One lady was out there scrubbing windows, scraping stuff, cleaning the pool, basically auditioning for “Extreme Makeover: Hotel Edition.” She was the MVP. Unfortunately, no amount of elbow grease can disguise the fact that this place is kinda tired. Salt air is rough on beachfront properties, and this one shows it. Our room was huge with three super-comfy beds and even a jetted tub. We didn’t use the tub, it looked “outside clean” but gave off strong “don’t peek inside” vibes. The bathroom was tiny, and I made the acquaintance of some local wildlife (aka Florida’s unofficial mascot: roaches). Let’s just say pest control could put in as much effort as housekeeping and we’d all sleep better. In short: comfy beds, hardworking staff, but the hotel itself needs more than Windex and hope to shine.

This is the hidden gem of Ormond Beach!! You cannot convince me that, dollar for dollar, there is another hotel that compares in the area. The rooms are modern and graciously spacious, the location is on the beach and the view is incredible, morning, day, or night. The front desk is always helpful and Susan is always so pleasant serving breakfast in the morning (complimentary breakfast at that). There's even a large pool and hot tub, also next to the ocean. I can go on and on. We love it here and feel like it's our secret getaway.

The room was comfortable and clean and right on the beach!! The breakfast was delicious and plentiful - the best we have had at a Choice hotel! (real scrambled eggs, even!) Everyone was helpful and pleasant!

Very Professional Experience Highly Recommend this place to stay They took us in at 12 am and had a King size bed and a 2 person jetted tub very relaxing

We stayed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day even shirt staffed the service was great, the room was clean and spacious, beds were amazingly comfortable, breakfast was good and the rates were very reasonable. It is an older motel as many of them on the beach are, but these owners do the absolute best they can and are working to improve the property.
